Jaguar XKE Undercarriage Refresh

 

One of our clients had his Jaguar’s panels painted and its front suspension restored.  This car, unbelievably, is rust free, but its chassis needed mechanical attention and its undercarriage was showing its age.  We removed the rear suspension, the exhaust system, the entire rear suspension assembly, the brake master cylinder, booster and more.  We rebuilt the differential, sent the brake calipers and fasteners out for plating, rebuilt the halfshafts, installed new rotors and brake pads and more.  The floor pans were cleaned and stripped, epoxy painted and then coated in a modern rubberized coating.  The exhaust is now stainless steel and the brakes work great.  We tidied up other small loose ends and sent it on its way.  It now looks awesome from any angle, even below.
