1958 Corvette

The owner wanted a stunning '58 Corvette, and we delivered.  Twice.  If you look through the pictures, the car was completely built, driven for a couple of years, torn back apart and re-engineered.  You're not likely to find another C1 Corvette with that much development effort anywhere!  A Lingenfelter-built LS2 stroker making over 500hp is under the hood, sending power through a T56 six speed transmission and on to the Dana 44 in the C4 Corvette rear suspension out back.  The original frame has C4 components grafted on as well, and it’s far and away the nicest riding and driving first generation Corvette we’ve ever driven.  The first paint job was a period correct silver while version 2.0 upgraded to a newer Mercedes color with a ton sparkle.  The windshield header looks stock, but a closer inspection reveals that there are no door glass uprights or top catches. This is a dry weather only roadster, and that big chromed frame is actually billet aluminum!  Tricks like that are everywhere and this beautiful car actually gets driven!
