Midyear Corvettes are undeniably cool. They're also old cars, and not particularly good ones at that. We’re fixing that in a big way: The basis is an SRIII chassis with 5th generation front and 4th generation rear Corvette suspensions. We've got the big daddy LS9 crate engine from the ZR1, a T56 Magnum transmission, huge brakes and coilovers. It'll run hard. Outside, it'll be a beautiful dark blue pearl with a white top.  We'll be widening the rear body to hold modern, larger tires and wheels.  A red leather interior with a custom console and nearly every trick we can cram in will make driving even better. We're a couple weeks away from landing the body on the chassis.
